Tech Guide

Each resident will receive their own personal computer. On this computer you may take part in a few activities. The first is the computer's intranet. This would be the location where your character may look through other residents' network posts and access such items as "ALICEpedia." Please note, as there is a Fourth Wall, your character will not be able to research the life story of other residents. The second use for the computer is as a way to keep track of a resident's credit total. (Note: It is up to the player to have an idea of an approximate idea of how many credits the character actually has. The mods will not enforce credits, unless they are being abused; i.e. a character suddenly has fifty kajillion credits when all they do is sit in their rooms and crochet.) The last use of the computer is information on the station itself. Of course, the information will be limited to maps and information about various known locations. There will be no information about ALICE nor area such as the unlabeled (aka DOOM) section of the station's ring.

Upon arriving on the station, each resident is fitted with an odd but tech-looking bracelet. These bracelets are used to keep track of the character's credits. The characters will simply scan their bracelets at the appropriate location to spend credits. When a character performs an action that deems them allotted credits, the bracelet instantly measures and transmits the data to ALICE. Once ALICE has recorded the data, the credit information will then be available to be searched for on the character's personal computer. Of course, there is a secret that the characters do not know. The bracelets not only record credits, but they also record other information such as vital signs, audio and video. After all, this is an experiment, and ALICE needs her eyes.

Your character also has access to a replicator. There is one (1) replicator per room; however, these replicators only dispense the nutrient gel that is allocated to your character freely. If your character would like to get more interesting fares, they must take a trip to Repli-mart. The Repli-mart is set up just like an open air bazaar; however, instead of restocking with merchandise from an outside source, each time an item is purchased, the helper droids simply replicate a new one to take its place.
